Dark chocolate, bitter strong body for a Malbec. First taste surprises you. 2013 — 9 years ago
"The Cabernet adds a dash of spice and elegance to the mix, softening the extreme altitude malbec's tannin teeth. Beauty taming the beast." An amazing, high altitude, Argentinian rare find from the Bonner's wine club. — 2 years ago
Medium/heavy body, light tannins, cherry, medium acidity — 9 years ago
Interesting wine- Pomelo and a slight tropical fruit. Round, medium palate of unripe green apple and minerals. Paired nicely with smoked paprika spiced ratatouille and polenta. Would not have guessed a Sauv Blanc when first opened. — 9 years ago
Mellow with a full mouth feel. Better decanted. Bought from Argo on sale. — 6 years ago
Que lindo vino! Mucha personalidad. Un poco más tranquilo que la añada pasada, menos piracinico, lo que le da cierta elegancia y lo hace muy muy bebible, aún a pesar de su alto alcohol. mejor acidez también. Largo final. Se disfruta mucho — 8 years ago
💜💜💜💜Northern Argentina. Extreme vineyard. Ridiculously allocated, and saved for a special occasion...Malbec and Cab make nice, offer up astringent but beautifully smooth tannins, black plum-cassis, pink peppercorn, gun flint, blue smoke, lilac and cocoa. Long finish. *A rare treat* (🐂🐂and yes, had this w/ steak) — 11 years ago

"after harvesting from vines with deep roots in the rocky soil on the banks of the Mayuco river, Raul and his brother Alvaro chose to go organic and use no oak, letting this stallion of a wine rip with spice, pepper and ripe fruit. Mineral notes hit once on the palate followed by a long finish." — a month ago
