Very yummy. Good body — 5 years ago
I've never had a 100% based Graciano grape Rioja before but this was exquisite. The flavours were full and rich and the body was intense. 10/10 would drink again and highly recommend. — 8 years ago
Adored this. Almost like Northern Rhone Syrah, smoke and violets and meat. Galicia in full force on the list at Aldea. — 11 years ago
Violets and macerated strawberries plus a surprisingly tannic structure — 7 months ago
Bought at Canella delectable — 7 years ago
Single parcel Mencía from a southwest facing slope of 80ish year-old vines. Opened yesterday along with the Viñas de Aldea (village version) the Aldea was much more approachable. Today the Seoane has really opened up, but does need a little cellar time (or a big decant) IMHO. Strawberry, graphite, wild herbs, black pepper, very fine tannin and vibrant acidity. 600ish bottles produced. — 9 years ago

As expected, this has some hair on it until it breathes. Sour cherries, some barnyard, some meaty quality. Quite tannic. It was just fine for grilling out. — 2 days ago
