Doing work in San Sebastián! A nice big dry red with a woody / oak finish and slight tobacco. Helps wash down all the pintxos! — 10 years ago
Medium bodied. Ever present oak and wood on the palate that's touched up by dark, leafy greens and bramble. Soft in the mouth.
Some air unlocks some of the hidden tannins and some more fruit comes through. — 7 years ago
Beautifully structured. Fresh aroma, full bodied yet smooth. Perfectly balanced acidity, tannins and a buttery smooth finish. All that set aside... This wine is so smooth, you can easily down the whole bottle. That said, this is the ultimate drinking wine. DO NOT PAIR WITH ANYTHING. Just drink. What an amazing buzz. — 9 years ago

Decanted for an hour. Very good and still young. Blackberry, spice, leather, tobacco and oak on the palate. Perfect with steak — 8 years ago

Smokey and savory aromas and flavors of tobacco, charcoal and earth. Silky smooth tannins but flavors of dark fruit and med + acidity tell me this wine will actually continue to age even more. Quite elegant for a Toro, but still has that “macho” Toro punch! Excellent! — 5 years ago
