Castellino

Vino Rosso Red Blend

— 3 years ago

Cru Perdu Brut Franciacorta

My first Franciacorta!! Really wonderful. $26 retail. Remarkably complex, great balance of toast and fruit. Can't wait to try more of these! — 10 years ago

You know, I had read that and heard it, but I guess part of me just didn't think it would be that comparable. Such a treat! If you have some others that you're a fan of, let me know!

There aren't a ton of options out there because Americans don't know what it is. Ca'del Bosco is the most recognizable and readily available. Villa Crespia is good and they make a great rose.

Cordelio Terre di Franciacorta Nebbiolo Blend 2006

My wife and I bought this in Italy on our honeymoon a few years back. We've been waiting to open it till now. Very good! Smells of floral deep plum & currents. Tastes well balanced and subtle notes of tobacco & current. — 10 years ago
