Bought this on a whim. Distilled from Sam Adams experimental 13th hour stout, with added hops and other things. This is surprisingly drinkable, with nice vanilla and wood notes, and actually quite a bit of sweetness probably from the stout distillates. I like it. There are 2 other spirits in this. I am a big fan of local wine. I am a Boston wine drinker who has been exploring the New York wine region. NY has some great wines. This Chard reserve, tasted three times at the Boston wine expo, is a buttery, oaky, smooth treat! If you can't get NY wines in your state, make the trip. P.S.
