Fruit forward and peppery. Taste earthy, a little spicy, tart/sour, dark red cherries. Dry aftertaste; tannic but not overwhelming. Taste like what it smells. — 10 years ago

The nose on this is so unique. I didn't guess Edna Valley Sauv Blanc tasting it blind- I honestly was at a bit of a loss and thought it was some chardonnay blend with semillon or viognier. I'm not sure how they got this much white floral and honey pollen from Sauv Blanc but I kind of love it.
Texture is rounded and soft, this is a whole different side of the grape.
I think a trip to the Edna Valley is in order!
