Linda Vista Vineyard Chardonnay 2022

From Cambridge Wines. Lightly buttered poached pears, the vanilla syrup and everything. Maybe some cinnamon. Wow 😯 — 10 months ago

Syrah 2013

Sadly just about a year too late on this one. Marvelous rich dark fruit. One of the bottles we shipped back from our NZ trip. Shame, but bringing back lovely memories. Giving good rating based on tasting at the winery. — 4 years ago

Rosé of Venus

Hazy pink, funk on the nose, with stone fruit and citrusy zest. Higher on acidity, dry, a delicious natural rosé! — 6 years ago

Gran Reserva de la Familia Brut Nature Cava Macabeo-Xarel-lo-Parellada

Actually one of the really good tasting champagnes that isn’t too dry or sweet. Great combo of both. Recommended by guy at Cambridge Wine and Spirits. — 3 years ago

Cloudwalker Cirrus Vineyard Pinot Gris Riesling 2018

Waving at the F train. Got flipped the bird TWICE, but the wine was great. Except when my chair broke and I spilled a whole glass. — 6 years ago

Côtes du Rhône Rosé Blend

I haven’t had a French love affair in awhile, but here I find myself again. The sound outside of the “gite” window during the afternoon sojourn of me and “x” Frenchman is one of honey bees flitting from the stamen to stigma of strawberry plants, impregnating rosettes to guarantee me even more days of oenophilic passion. (D, the husband I briefly forgot about, indicates he bought this at Cambridge Wine & Spirits). — 6 years ago
