Left Bend - Santa Cruz Mountains - Camel Hill Vineyard - Syrah - 2016
Great fruit and terrior, oak notes could sit 2 years. Oak was good, a lil coconutty (for my taste) but very tasty now and should mellow nicely with a just lil more time.

Just underipe mango spice with the slightest residual mineral mouth buzz, citruses like lemon and grapefruit with wildflower or clover honey, pear sweetness, a lingering camel light tobacco leaf, gasoline finish like I drank it from a plastic tank. 7.5%: very good on a humid day, refreshing, thirst quenching. The acid develops in the air, getting more citrusy and slightly bitter, becomes more piquant and the honey becomes more beeswaxy. It expands in the mouth, poolside finish is long. — 5 years ago
Finally opened up at the correct temp (68 degrees) and three hours of air. Developed camel on the expanding finish. Oxy in a@good way. — 2 years ago
Cornwall in a bottle - saline freshness and wonderfully crisp. This is just made for (Cornish) seafood and fish. The acidity will work perfectly with crab or prawns. A real knockout. — 4 years ago
