I liked the way this showed with its generous red fruit, earth, spice & floral notes — 3 months ago
2022 vintage. A fave SLB plot/expression over the years and this is no exception. Silky as always from this producer. Light-medium body. The expected strawberry/raspberries rsvp early on with suggestions of rhubarb and dirt/earth on the finish. Showing really nicely now despite the youthful innocence. 03.26.25. — 4 months ago
Different, serious, less of a structured discussion and more of a Hunter S. Thomson missive. Paired well with salted raw corn. — 11 days ago
Nose: the most beautiful smoke. Cherries. A gorgeous herbal aspect. Cherry flowers. More savory as it opens. So precise it’s utterly penetrating.
Palate: so bright and fresh and clean. The purest cherry juice. A mineral cherry stream. Changes every 15 minutes. Elegant licorice. Cherry silk. Wow.

I will but every bottle of Bize I am offered. Chisa has such a beautiful touch of finesse and ethereal character in her wines. — 3 months ago
Deep dark cherry. Orange zest. Earthy and rustic. Classic. But the wine lacks anything special where i would say wow. Wine oxidizes within 2 hours so air does not make a difference. So I will drink these bottles up. Note these wines needed to be aged for 15 years to develop. — 2 months ago
Big, brambly nose with lots of red cherries, mid season sour cherries, earth and mineral. Really clean and evocative. Palate is juicy and so precise. Very clean and a lovely mineral/fruit wash on the finish. Great depth, freshness and terrific concentration. Not elegant but this wine never is. It has such impact for little $$. Nice, ripe tannins and serious structure. This is always best at 5 years old. — 4 months ago

Dark gold color with ever so subtle orange hues. Past prime and slightly oxidized. Mammoth wine! Caramel and stone fruits dominate. Not bad by any means. Decant and Drink up soon. — 13 days ago
