So strange and unlike anything else. Underripe mango, lemon, honeydew, apple, and kiwi, with kerosene, pine needles, grandma’s closet, and wet concrete. A challenging wine... some people at the table couldn’t get behind it, but I loved it. Wonderful complexity. — 5 years ago

Bought Dec 2022, $20 Wise Old Dog in West Hartford
Stored in 1st floor bedroom closet ~64F
Nose- Freshly opened: Clean, floral, apples & pares, sage??
Palette- Freshly opened, sweet w/ slight acidity, may have been a touch warm, light-medium body — 3 years ago
Nose has dehydrated cherry, fresh raspberry, slightly smokey oak, old cedar closet, dried strawberry, over wintered mint, dried eucalyptus and dried blackberry.
Palate has delicate cherry + raspberry, semi-dried blueberry, fresh strawberry, cedar sawdust with still notable tannins.
Being hesitant, we only decanted about 20m before dinner, needs much more time in the decanter/glass, as after an hour it's finally starting to show it's worth. — 6 years ago
Quite pleasant with Pat’s steak ($75). Not sure how long it would cellar in SoCal closet, so glad we drank it now. — 5 years ago
We had left this bottle in a closet for 18 months, and when we found it and uncorked it, we discovered that the Sonoma influence had grown. The blackberry and cherry flavors had deepened, along with greater acidity. It is drinking beautifully, especially with sharp cheese. — 6 years ago

NYT great reasonable $$$ wine that we’ve had over last year. I love it. Awesome so Karin bought more for our closet. — 3 years ago
