Deep ruby color. Close to its peak, but still bit closed up. Black fruits, spices and earth. Complex wine with great character. Truly fine and elegant Pomerol wine. Château Haut-Maillet is independently vinified at Château La Cabanne which also belongs to Estager family. It allows this wine to benefit from the latest equipment and technologies of their new vat. Aging In French oak barrels (30% new). 5 ha located on the NE of Pomerol. 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc vineyard with 21 years old vines. Rating 4,1/5 — 8 years ago

Глубокий рубиновый цвет. Вино близко к своему пику, но еще немного закрыто. Черные ягоды, специи и земля в аромате. Комплексное вино с шикарной структурой. Действительно благородное и элегантное вино из Помроль. Château Haut-Maillet отдельно винифицируют в Château La Cabanne также принадлежащему семье Estager. Это позволяет вину получить все преимущества нового оборудования и технологичности новых цистерн. Выдержка в бочках из французского дуба (30% новых). 5 га виноградников расположены в С-В Помроль, 79% посадок мерло и 21% КабФр. Лозам 21 год.

2022 vintage. 94% Merlot, 6 % Cabernet Franc.
La Cabanne has great terroir, on the plateau with the famous blue clay. Stylstically, it's more about finesse than power ( more La Conseillante than L'Evangile if you want to compare with the bigger boys). Wonderful perfume with red fruits and flowers, and a delicate kiss of oak. Impeccable balance, refined, complex and long. Had a beautiful vertical at the estate and I believe the 2022 might be the best ever. Great value too. — a month ago
