Gosh when Lafon with some age is on, so so good. A perfect bottle of ‘09 Charmes from the pristine cellar at Emeril’s, remarkably fresh and seamlessly balanced with both ripeness and definition, a voluminous texture with layered crystalline minerality, citrusy acids and a captivating almond-pastry cream bouquet. Couldn’t have shown any better. Just look at that color! — 2 months ago
2014 vintage. Drinking as a more traditional St. Estèphe here vs lusher, newer vintages. In a great place currently and showing well. Not ridiculously expansive and otherworldly but doesn't need to be in the mid-$40's resto cost. Checks so many boxes. Leaner, chiseled and durty. Classic Stèphie. 1.30.25. — 3 months ago
A great, reliable French chardonnay that we get when we see it. This one performed well in it's 10th year, with nice body and smooth finish. — 2 months ago

Always a favorite of mine. Fruit but not overly done, round, depth, beauty, nuanced, and absolutely delicious. — 9 days ago
