A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot (60/40), this is a delicious & inexpensive left bank Bordeaux. I will say that a 30+ minute decant really helped remove some intial reduction. Afterwards this wine presents black currant & plum with notes of graphite and cigar box with a palate that is medium bodied with just enough well integrated tannins to pair well with reverse seared ribeye steaks alongside rainbow carrots!
