Oxidative, slightly tertiary character. Dried red fruits, figs, prunes, leather, vanilla and caramelized/spicy oak flavors. There is some lovely fruit emanating from this highly aromatic Merlot-dominant blend, despite it being in a style that I don’t necessarily love. — 6 years ago
