Quite sharp with lemon and citrus highlights. Not as rich as more robust P-F's like Jadot but a good value at nearly half the price. — 9 years ago

This wine is likely the greatest value I have tasted from the Maconnais 2014's this far. Intense automatically and in the depth of fruit on the pallet. Great richness juxtaposed by mineral edges and acidity . — 9 years ago
Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Counoise, Cinsault and a white variety Le Rolle. Biodynamic since 1989 and made in a cathedral cave of stone cut from the cliff side. Simply marvelous... — 11 years ago

"Syrah, like Malbec, is one of the darkest red wines. It tends to pop early on the palate with a high " attack" to use a musical term. The winemaker has managed to turn down the attack while turning up the mid to late palate experience to produce a wine that starts surprisingly soft for a Syrah and gradually builds into the powerhouse you expect. Look for black cherry, raspberry and smoke with lingering pepper." — a month ago
