The 2019 Chablis Les Blanchots Grand Cru is very well defined on the nose, where sea spray and oyster shell notes combine with citrus aromas. Hints of green olive emerge with time. The well-defined palate is taut on the entry, with hints of chai tea and chamomile infusing the white peach and citrus notes, and builds nicely toward a very composed finish. Superb. Lovely blueberry bagel smells contrasting nicely with cast iron skillet, cedar shavings, dried olives, tobacco tar and violets. Graphite sprinkled black currant, chai spices, pickled peach essence, pepper and plum reduction. Big dark cloud of a finish. — 8 years ago
One of the best Cab"s I've ever had. Drinks even better than it smells. — 11 years ago
