Super tart. Cranberry, underripe cherry, underripe strawberry, and fresh raspberry. Medium bodied, low tannin, medium alcohol, high acid, and a long finish. Definitely a clean expression of the grape, but I’d prefer a little more post-fermentation aging and maybe a bit more oak barrel exposure. In any event, this 2019 is too young to drink. Give it a couple more years in the bottle. — 2 years ago
We had the 2017 Vintage on 10/1/24. A real good PN from Moshin. Medium bodied, nice mouth feel. Black cherry and baking spices. Less fruit forward than other Sonoma wines — 3 months ago
Rich and luscious - ripe red and black fruits. It’s a funny thing how full bodied this wine is which comes from one of the most southerly (cold) vineyards (Huon Valley Tasmania) in Australia. We visited there a few years ago and had lunch. Medium to full bodied with sweet black cherry flavours but I might have gotten the Food/wine match wrong - too floral and pretty perhaps to go with venison. I should have chosen Syrah or a GSM - an excellent wine nevertheless. — 7 months ago
Very dark in colour - opaque. Black plum and earthy “Heathcote “ aromas - some spice and liquorice. The same notes carry through to the full bodied palate with dark cherry and mocha. Chalky dry tannins. From magnum. — 2 years ago
Dark Ruby color with aromas of ripe berry fruit and herb spice. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and blackberry with leather, tobacco and cacao notes. Dusty fine tannins, medium+ finish ending rich with herb mineral spice. — 7 months ago
Age that Fruh! At 10 this is really coming into its own Gorgeous nose of wet earth, spice and desiccated leaves and tree bark. An interesting citrus note as well. So expressive. Just a stunning nose. The fierce tannins of this have calmed down and it’s an ultra silky and has superb concentration and awesome mid season cherry fruit and some blackberry overtones. Sweet tannins and exceptional length. Air is always this wine’s friend. — 8 months ago

From 375 ml bottle...good things can come in small packages.
Double decant and pour. A still dark purplish garnet color with some bricking(decent chunky/fine sediment). On the nose: subtle brooding notes of dark fruit, currants, wet forest floor, worn leather, smokey grilled meat. Taste: creamy, elegant, balanced, savory wine with some dark cherry, earth, dark chocolate, cedar, tobacco, and a cocoa dried herb medium plus finish. YUM! — a month ago
