Clos Apalta

Clos Apalta

Valle de Apalta Red Blend

2014 paired with a CdB from spanish angus.
First time used my new decanter. Fun fun fun. And a great wine too. Big bold! Years to go. I can see the 100JS points.

Clos Apalta Le Petit Clos Red Blend 2022

Richer, bolder and cooler than Prelude.
Very good one, but it needs. Couple of year to fully get together and smash all its potential.

Casa Lapostolle

Cuvée Alexandre Apalta Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

5 years is a great spot for this. It's inky and clings to the glass. Blackberry, cherry, cocoa, mint, graphite. Decent structure, it punches above its weight class. I'd do it again, especially with tri-tip.
Listening to The Pixies.

Casa Lapostolle

Clos Apalta Limited Release Carménère Blend 2010

Boldly burst out of the glass with Sharp Ruby flavors. Blackberries, blueberries and raspberries with chocolate and a hint of leather. 15 years and just reaching out for life! Has many years left. — 7 months ago
