MAGNUMS age the best. An even better vintage: the '96 is REMARKABLE with minty sasafrass and cassis (clearly more Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend -and far more reminiscent of Ridge). Root spices and finely structured despite the drawing tannins and the pieces still remain distinct -as opposed to the '97 that was so completely integrated. This is moving an memorable.
