Did I just have this in January? Yup! lol. Anyway nose is young and grapey. Super young. Dark berry and bright red berry fruit. Maybe some pomegranate? Really unique nose. Good syrah sweetness. Palate also young and grapey. But elegant and meaty as all can be. Charcuterie, rich dark berry fruit, super concentrated and just so young but has energy, freshness and acidity. Needs mega air. I’ll be back. Nose becomes more civilized with air and settles into spiced dark berries. Palate is so gamey, so olives and so feral. Really wild St. Jo. — 2 years ago
