Really great for the price $53-had 2013 vintage — 6 years ago
N:Quince, Pear, a bit of banana, yellow fruits.
P: Ripping acid, very bright, tart even, .
Lemons and flowers, refreshing, not long. A good match for Puerto Rican rice&beans.
Grapes most of us don’t run across daily,

Soft, elegant tannins, plush, but never cloying. Less rustic than expected—this is our first experience with this appellation. 4-hour decant. Fruit-driven aromatics, palate is more iron/mineral. Great acidity, impeccable structure, medium finish. Beautiful work. — 5 years ago
Wow. Awesome Wine. I might have guessed Mosel. Green apple nose. Mineral. Awesome texture. Good fruit. Some pith. Awesome lemony finish. This is not a Wine with epic concentration but it's textbook well made. If you love Wine and find it grab it. Total surprise and a great ringer. Bought from fass selections. — 8 years ago
[Edit: 2 hours later this has come around a bit and a nice mineral character is showing through. Upped the score. Still not as interesting as the Pierre Rouge.]
We have quite enjoyed the other wines we’ve had from this producer; therefore we were surprised that this particular bottling turned out to be rather faceless & formulaic, a least to our palates. 😐 — 3 years ago
