Medium garnet , ruby core , medium wide garnet rim . Touch of wood spice at first then , dark plum and blackberry, grilled meat . On the palate good density of dark fruits, with a slightly gritty grafite , oyster shell note, spice and cocoa. Slightly dry tannin and balanced acidity . Finishes slightly short , a little chalky also . Overall well made but just misses the extra complexity and density of a better vintage .
