Headliner on NYrs Eve; nose surprisingly closed for such a strong fruited wine, despite 2 hr+ decant before service. Still, did not deter from an explosive palate: crushed granite, wild blackberries, wild flowers, cured game nearby but not primary. Feels like old & new world meet somewhere in the middle here, & for about 30$ that equals pleasure. — a month ago
