Garagiste selection. $23.80. Huge tannins. Excellent. — 7 years ago
Quite dark & structured with dark fruit, a touch moss, a whiff of fresh mushrooms,
On the palate this shows juicy acidity, a plush, firm tannic structure and dark cherry & ripe strawberry. Richer & a bit more burly, but soo drinkable and good friendly. This is a really good wine, and so good quality-price-ratio!

Very nice example for Rully. Not a lot of colour. Flowers in the nose and long bit creamy finish. — 7 years ago

Much cooler & more savoury than the Chaponniere. Starts quite reductive & closed but after 1h shows herby freshness, light raspberries, fresh huckleberries, a light touch of mushroom & hint of mint.
On the palate this shows some weight, with firm yet juicy tannins, good depth, sappy acidity. This is more savoury and more ‚foody‘ vs the Chaponniere yet also more complex & with more character.
Both unmistakably Cote Chalonnaise. — 4 years ago
