The Chambourcin grape does very well in Virginia. Fabbioli Cellars has crafted a delicious fruit-forward version that pairs wonderfully with spicy foods. — 7 years ago

A decent cab franc. Not sure I'd get again. — 6 years ago
Very intoxicating. Andrew and I couldn't finish the bottle in one sitting which is unusual for us. $40 at Fabbioli Cellars. Very intense aromas of chocolate and fruit. Overall I would just say this is intense in every way. Nose, palate, alcohol etc. — 8 years ago
New Zinfandel. California grapes, but still a good taste to them — 10 years ago
Red berry, humid summer forest, hints of old leather jacket and hard candies on the nose. Plum, raspberry, tart cherry, notes of vanilla, soft puckering tannins lingering with juicy cranberry on the finish. Nice red for Virginia. Went well with pizza. — 4 years ago
Unique blend of both Virginia and California grapes. Bold red, complex flavors. — 8 years ago

While still sporting some Loudoun funk, there is quality structure and balance to make this a serviceable food wine - think northern Italian — a year ago
