A delicious light summery berry red wine. A very gentle aftertaste. Definitely a mood. Let it breathe for a while — 4 years ago

2020 vintage.
Pale straw in colour.
Grapefruit pith, lime and underbrush on the nose.
Dry and racy acidity. Very cleansing.
Ripe grapefruit, lemon, savoury, earthiness with Tuscan minerality.
Very impressive for the price.
I will drink this all summer. — 3 years ago
2020 vintage.
A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Maremma in Tuscany.
12 months aging in French oak barriques and tonneaux with a few months in concrete and finished with 6 months of bottle aging.
Bright, deep ruby red with a nose of plums and licorice.
Blackcurrant, berries and cherries, leather with silky, polished tannins.
A smooth and gentle crisp acidic finish. — 3 months ago
2015 vintage. Single vineyard 100 % Sangiovese from south facing hill full of schist stones. Hand picked and sorted. 14 months in French oak tonneaux then 4 months in concrete vats then 6 months in bottle.
Impressive nose of cherry kirsch, new leather and savoury baker’s spice.
Taste wise, layers of ripe strawberry and cherry with a touch of earthiness and stones. Brilliant mouth watering acidity with freshness. I could drink this every week.
We made our own dough and had duck, local B.C. Matsutake mushrooms and grilled onion pizza with this wine. — 4 years ago
Very soft tannins almost merlot like. Well crafted misses a bit of bite. Good effort — 8 years ago

Drinking well now, this has pretty good structure and acids for an ‘18. Dark macerated cherry, spice, and low-toned earthy minerals on the nose. Vigorous in the mouth, with acids, alcohol, and tannin jockeying with each other for primacy. Clingy dark cherry and savory minerals on the palate. This will easily keep and improve over the next 5 years. — 12 days ago
