Tonight it showed excellent, just so good (actually this bottle was way better in shape than the 2016 I had a few months ago).
Typical and racy.

Hyvä! ! Hapokas, voimakkaat tanniinit ja aromikkaan keskitäyteläinen. Chiantimainen tuoksu, pitkä jälkivaikutelma. — 6 years ago
Clásico Chianti. Ligero de canillas largas. Deslumbrante color Rubí con intensos tonos y aromas de la Toscana. Ligero bello y alegre. — 7 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2019 pours a very pretty garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberries, cranberries, pomegranate, rose pastilles, alpine herbs, cedar chest, and crushed rock. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose thought the palate seems to be a little more reserved. The finish is medium. This is an authentic and elegant expression of Carema; a place already known for elegance. Drink now through 2034. Thanks to @Lyle Fass for the assist! — 2 years ago

Probably the best Chianti we’ve had. — 6 years ago
A nice golden color with a tart aroma of apple-lemon and minerality. Flavors of minerals, chalk, smoke, and flint. It also has a slight salty taste. Quite nice. — 6 years ago
Woodsy and violet bright fruit and currant and dried cherry on the nose l. Classic zing in the center or the palate. Exquisitely smooth and elegant and with a bouncy tannin.. Warm deep finish. — 8 years ago
2013 Vintage. clear, golden color. red apple, underripe pear at first then becoming like apple pie on the nose. fine mousse, persistent and steady. Red apple, bosc pear, hints of lemon curd flavors. Not particularly yeasty but has a richness of flavor. medium long finish. balanced. well made. Too good for my sunday afternoon casual enjoyment. or is it?! — 8 years ago
Exceptional example of a single Vineyard, or Rive, prosecco. Far more focused and balanced than the average DOC Prosecco. Excellent minerality and fruit with just a hint of residual sugar (like much Prosecco, this is extra dry rather than Brut). a lovely wine — 9 years ago
This is a nice drinking wine. It’s citrusy, creamy, and has a slight salinity. It also has a bit of tartness. — 4 years ago
Rich Italian dark cherries permeate this luscious bouquet with a slight hint of Valencia oranges. Sour cherries, spices and a slight orange sweetness that rounds off a smooth and balanced finish! 16 years old and who would thought it would be so spectacular? That’s right- those Italians did!! — 5 years ago
Light bodied. Nose of raspberries, a bit floral. Dry, acidic, tannic, chalky and mineral. My favourite light bodied wine by far, Etna Rosso! — 6 years ago
a racy big red, perfect for braised game on a frosty night. cherry, rubber gym floor, kitchen spice, bitter almond, black currant. — 7 years ago

Structure is on point: high acidity, long finish, full mouthfeel. Flavors are a jumbled mess though. Bruised fruit is primary. Clean up some of that and this would be fire. — a year ago
