At Asheville reunion 10/7/19 opened to try. Wonderful! Earthy complex mature white fruit almost herbaceous nose with great lively yet weighty texture and long finish. What a deal! — 7 years ago
This 02 took some time to open up but it really blossomed. Lots of barnyard on the nose and great berries - blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. Very well integrated wine with nice balance — 9 years ago

Silky and bright on the front end. The fruit flavors fan out on the palate and morph into an earthy, shoe polish note that lasts for some time. — 5 years ago
Great balance all round. Lovely bouquet. — 7 years ago
Smells musty and funky at first, but given a little bit of air and time the smell of cherries and raspberries emerges. Taste is of sour cherries with a sweet fruit behind the initial sourness ... not much mind you, but enough to keep the tastes changing in your mouth. — 8 years ago

Pale colour, hints of green.
This seems still quite young, fresh and very energetic. Lemon, green apple, white peach and chamomille, dusted with some spice and minerality. Terrific! — a month ago
