Sud-Ouest tasting #7
Beautiful aromatics with baked lemons, apple pie, Mandarine peel... a sweet opening on the palate followed through with amazing juicy, citrus acidity and whiff of exotic spice... the balance is impeccable and the this fits perfectly both a foie gras as well as beautiful apple pie. A grand wine. — 4 years ago
Part of a Christmas pack. Good. — a month ago
Gosh these wines are so good. Top tier for me. This new release from Grand Cru Chardonnay in Avize and a neighboring site in Oger is so pure, ethereal and focused with lasers of citrusy acids, chalky minerals and terrific fruit density. As with all La Rogerie wines, it’s so textural and expansive, filling the mouth with its voluminous pillowy mousse. Simply top notch BdB. — 2 months ago
Dark red purple. Abundant nose of cedar and black raspberry. Medium full palate yields black raspberry, dried plum (not prune), red licorice, light graphite. Juicy medium plus acidity. Medium plus tannins. Medium finish. Classic French food wine that’s ready for lighter cuts of beef and hearty Sud-Ouest stews (drop a cup or so in the stew to make your own Julia Childs moment!). Drink now through 2026. — 4 years ago

Sehr süsslich und nicht schwer — a year ago
The nose is very light berry; very nice smell. The front is very smooth and sharp berry. Along with the finish and the taste stays in your mouth for awhile. Overall for the price for bottle the wine is excellent. $11 — 2 years ago
