Double decant and pour for sediment(lots of sediment). Still a dark garnet with little bricking. On the nose: such captivating expressive notes of perfumed stewed dark fruit, herbaceous, boiled meat, minty menthol, worn leather, tobacco leaf. Taste: Wow! in a beautiful spot right now....creamy, savory, silky wine with dried red fruit, earth, dark chocolate, graphite, dried herbs, old leather, and a beautiful lingering finish. YUM!!! Excellent qpr! Upon opening, it’s somewhat subdued but half an hour later, wow! What happened?! And with food, roasted red meats, hard cheeses, grilled vegetables, it really comes alive! This is as good or better than cabs costing 2-3 times as much. Great daily drinker!! — 2 months ago

On those nose - blackberry, plum, spice. Smokey notes, good tannin level, lingering aftertaste which is good. Pleasantly surprised. Lots of fruity flavors. Deep purple color. BLEND: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon 17% Petit Verdot 2% Petite Sirah Malbec 1%

Actually quite good or at least better than expected. The Malbec acted much like a Merlot grape In smoothing out the tannins of Cabernet and resulted in a very smooth wine that would be equally good as either a sipper or with supper. I would definitely buy again especially at $8 a bottle! — 5 years ago
