Feudi di San Gregorio

Greco di Tufo

This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 5 months ago

Feudi di San Gregorio

Rubrato Irpinia Aglianico 2018

Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of ripe black berry/currant fruit, ash, smoke and leather. Sour red and black cherry fruit on the palate with additional notes of figs, black olives, woody herbs and black pepper spice. Nice hint of charred oak on the medium-plus finish. Well balanced and powerful. Better as it opened up so give this wine a decant. Solid QPR. — 9 months ago

Taurasi Aglianico 2010

After 15 years this is starting to shed its gloomy and cranky nature. Black fruit, volcanic minerality, tons of fiery and smoky nuances, refreshing acidity.
Very nice!

Cepas Viejas Tempranillo Blend 2013

Vintage 2013 | 90 Tempranillo 10 Syrah | Warm, spicy, a bit rustic, rich. When wine has ripened it often is more difficult to determine its origin. My winefriends thought Barbera and I fully understand this. I drank it with a fillet steak and salad and I like the combination of velvety structure and rustic smell. It is a reflection wine. Vines are 75 y old. 24 months barrel aging on new French and American oak. — 5 months ago
