Aromatic with ash and barnyard. The palate is juicy, with bright acidity and false effervescence to start. Finishes long with macerated fruits, bitter earth, and dry, gripping tannins. V.A. Not quite clean. Definitely one of a kind. The volatile acidity actually fits nicely with PLENTY (several hours/a day) of air. — 5 years ago
Having it for the second time. Even more impressed than before! Rich, complex, mineral notes that make this wine an extremely refined version of the Nero d'avola. — 9 years ago
