Hirsch with another great wine. Gorgeous nose with more depth than your average Pinot. Sour cherry notes. Not much tannin to deal with here. Curious where my other bottles will be in a few years — 5 months ago

Outstanding. Standing applause. It’s very well-balanced with some complexity and a long finish for a Pinot. The way this wine is made adds to the experience. — 2 months ago
Same notes from my Feb ‘23 review below. Just exceptional California Chardonnay. I have one left from this vintage that I’ll hold for a little while longer but I can’t imagine this getting better than it’s drinking now. I’ve had more recent vintages of this wine and they came in mid 14abv and while good, they’re different, this is 13%. Still down to meet you at Hirsch @Turd Fergusson — 2 months ago

Has some fight, bite, and spice. Dark persona, firmly structured with a core of sandy salinity, a little weight and tannic tension. Wild sour green strawberries, unripe raspberries, cedar lining.
Reserved, but punchy. — 19 days ago
