Gorgeous. Lovely lively acidity makes the complex flavours dance. Fresh. Alive. Very good — a month ago
very good chenin blanc. “a little bit of a riesling taste” - nick — 21 days ago
This remains one of the greatest white dry wines of France although probably not for everybody. Every year is a surprise and that inconsistency can be off-putting. Golden color, medium weight, quite high in alcohol (14.5) and cloudy. Long burn, apricot, dried raisins, apple and pineapple. — 2 months ago
No flaws, but no real excitement either. Even the aromatics were a bit underwhelming. — 12 hours ago
Beautiful. From legendary Thierry Germain. Ungrafted rootstocks planted on sandy topsoil. 12,5% abv. Dense yet weightless. Like ballerina performing a physically demanding solo yet evoking a sense of lightness and grace on the edge of your tongue. High acidity, soft chalky-type (drying) tannins, but juicy. — a month ago
