This is a treat. Well balanced. Exceptional structure. Usually I arrive at balance after gathering my thoughts. In this case, it’s at the forefront.
Cherry cola, juicy plums, cloves and a medium acidity. A smoked barbecue rub quality and a slight astringent quality all come together for a well rounded and welcome drinking experience. — 5 years ago

Delicate, with ripe red fruit as well as mineral notes and some vanilla from oak. Enough to turn a humdrum Wednesday evening into an occasion.
Of course, I found it in a last chance Vintages basket, so it may well be the first and last time I try this wine. If you see it, buy it. And save a glass for me. — 8 years ago
