Basic ‘farmy’ label. Screw-top ease of opening. Deep color of Santa Rosa plum skins. Smells of sage smoke, wood shavings, rose petals, and berries. Classic Syrah flavors of mineral-water, plum jam, and savory pork-chops. Chewy and dense. Complex and intriguing. Hint of pepper and nutmeg on the finish. — 8 months ago
