Pretty good for a 9 year New World wine. Has aged well — 5 months ago
The flavor profile is kind of like Cab Franc, with notes of dehydrated strawberry (like Special K red berries), mushroom, and a kiss of oak. Medium bodied. Wonderful acid, and still had some tannins. — 4 years ago

Dark dried fruit, leathery, dry, pepper, lots of oak. Delicious. — 4 years ago
It’s been a while since I’ve pounded a Priorat and Pissarres delivered — the right balance of raspberry, blueberry and black slate. Pure, intense fruit and earth unadulterated by new oak. Great pairing with Gochujang (other favorite pairings include Pinot Gris Ramato or Bedrock Evanghelo Zin). — 5 months ago
Lovely mushroom emerges within a lovely and gracefully aged malbec showing appropriate raisination. Tulip, violet, hibiscus and rosemary-beef; bllackberry and cocoa, cracked pepper. Dense coloration just brimming on brick. Concentrated plum and cinnamon collide with tobacco, cedar and savory as well as slightly sour cherry and roobios.

Never heard of Tempranillo Blanco. Is that a grape? Golden, straw colored. Smells like Albariño or a French Rhone type white. Honey, sweet baked goods, sage, carrot seeds and oak. Flavors are strange and unfamiliar. Crisp, zesty, with a streak of tart green apple. Some honey, but not sweet at all. Just a hint of that CA chard stuff with the oak flavors. But it’s not really like any white I can place. Most resembles Rhone white blends. It’s a fun wine to try, and it’s nice. Complex and just a bit funky. — 4 years ago
