Medium deep ruby , garnet . Quite rich and deep fruits , with some dusty herbal elements . On the palate also quiet ripe and rich , sweetly fruited . Dark cherry , with some summer fruits , blackberry . Good balance however , with sweet tannin and balanced acidity . Still showing lots of fruit , but drinking now but can can last well , probably improve over the next 5 years or so . — 5 days ago

The 2022 Chardonnay Arbois Patchwork was bottled in March 2024. Opening with some reduction, time in the glass unearths wet stone and lemon flesh aromas. Anchored by zesty acidity, the 2022 is a well-built and tensile Chardonnay that walks off the stage with a tidy finish. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, August 2024)

18-8, Disgorged in 2023. Holy shit, this is bloody amazing!!!! The nose is intensely elegant. Honey brioche, baked apples and spices. Bubbles are fine and sexy. On the palate, it's super - complex, layered and lengthy. And the fact it's only Disgorged last year...wow! My first Selosse. I now know why it's so hyped and I cannot disagree. Very good blend of 40% Trousseau, 15% Poulsard, 45% Pinot Noir. Similar to a full red burg Pinot. A little more funk and acidity. Cherry and dried cranberries, light body. Had it 2 nights in a row, with eggplant parm and salad. — 22 days ago

The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Crémant du Jura BBF blends base wines from the 2018 and 2019 vintages. A single-varietal Chardonnay, it showcases intense oyster shell, ripe apple and pear as well as subtle brioche complexities. Closing with a focused and bone-dry finish, this is a neat and tidy Crémant du Jura with splendid freshness. Zero dosage. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, August 2024)

Had Tissot’s cuvée a few weeks ago and loved it so decided to try their 100% Trousseau. Decanted for about 20 min before diving in as we felt the cuvée benefited from air as we drank it. Red cherry, raspberry, some strawberry. The funky fruit character in the beginning blows off as it sits. A wine you can sit with and drink academically but also easy enough to drink without thought and blissfully enjoy. — 2 months ago
