Marvelous Tzakolina 100% Hondarrabi Zuri…light lemon yellow in the glass. Citrus nose, touch of straw/hay, 12% ABV… a bit rounder, more balanced acidity than most Basque whites… suspect some lees contact. Creamy, zesty, ripe apple, juicy pear, and melon. Perfect foil to Iberico jamon and funky Basque cheese and tomato toast. Glorious celebration of simple neutral-oaked Mediterranean sun-baked white. I’ll be looking for more! — 2 years ago

When in Bhutan …
So after trying the more basic version yesterday I am trying the premium version that was bottled for the coronation of the 5th king - my guides recommended I try it.
This not only had Scotch somewhere in the name, it tasted like it. And the sommelier is telling me that indeed, this comes from Scotland and is just bottled here :) . A pleasant Scotch the here in the high alpine meadows of Bhutan — 10 days ago
