La Fleur Baron

Château Fleur Cardinale

Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

Picked up a 2012 at Wine House for $60 on 12/21/2024

One of the best wines I’ve tasted all year especially in the sub $100 price range

Smells like fertilizer and funk (in a good way) but tastes like blackberries and cherries with hints of soil

Baron Philippe de Rothschild

Mouton Rothschild For Philippine Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1995

Kept in 55 degrees 70 % humidity over the last 19 years. She’s as fresh as a daisy. 81% cab balanced with merlot. Still has all the sandalwood and casis at the forefront. Perfect wine to celebrate an amazing Christmas. Cheers y’all!! — 2 days ago

Fleur de Pedesclaux

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

2022 vintage. Pedesclaux becomes better and better, and that is also reflected in the second wine. Fleur de Pedesclaux is usually dominated by Merlot, but this 2022 is 49% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Therefore, it shows a more typical Pauillac character than before, with black fruit (cassis, blackberries), some smokiness, a powerful structure, and serious length. Abv. 14%. Even better the next day. Should age beautifully. — a month ago
