This Bordeaux style blend is not quite as big a wine as prior vintages, but has brighter acidity and nice mineral tannins. The dominant flavors are Bing cherry and blueberry, with a thick finish. It was a great complement to cumin seared steak salad. — 8 years ago
Delicious, more full-bodied rose. Very beautiful in color. — 9 years ago

Guenoc/Langtry are constantly changing their labels and branding, not that this is confusing to their consumers or anything 😾

This wine has the expected slight oak with cherry mocha fruits and a smooth drinkable body.

Dark fruit, dark cherries, cedar, turned earth and leather. Grippy tannin and long lingering finish of baking spices. — 8 years ago
Thick and heavy like drinking bread, with nice mocha tones and just a hint of cherry. — 9 years ago
1992 from magnum. Cork was crumbly, and first to show was American oak on the nose. After decanting it's really fleshed out and I almost called it old world blind. A great pairing for pork tacos. — 10 years ago
