Medium acidity and very smooth. Perfect for the price. — 2 months ago
Great chilled on a Sunday with burgers. Want to purchase more. — 4 months ago
Blue and black fruits. A lot of density and terroir. This took about 5 hours decanting and in the glass to fully open up.
Excellent pairing for steak. Robust wine that turned super smooth.
Went head to head with ‘15 Caymus SS and IMO beat it out handily. — a month ago

Fun and funky bottle, lots of yeasty baked goods on the palette for me, but easy-drinking. — 3 months ago
The oak really stands out in this one. On one hand I think 'Too much what are you trying to hide or make up for?' and on the other hand I think 'This was daring but it worked!'.
Let me put it another way: It's too much oak for me to enjoy the bottle but it's a wood punch that makes me enjoy the glass over many other Pinot's I've had recently.

Coming back to this old favorite. Now it’s at grocery outlet! Pretty label. Pretty color in the glass. Smells earthy with wet gravel meets strawberry-rhubarb pies. Flavors are nice. Floral, fruity cherry/raspberry notes. Blast of bite on the finish to keep it balanced. Fruit driven, but not fruit bombed. Juicy AF. Cleaner and less dynamic than I remember it being when I love, love, loved it. Still an amazing Spanish value wine. Elegant and very tasty. — a month ago
Absolutely loved the detail on the bottle. Had this with some very fatty ribeyes and just absolutely hit it out of the park. A deep nose it almost comes off. Still hot with alcohol, but dry forest floor and rich garrique scents. Very bold and rich with ripe bursting plum, Rosemary, thyme, and butter, definitely enough structure to hold up against a good thick steak. Can’t believe this thing is 11 years old and still kicking it. — 4 months ago

Opened earlier in the day and double-decanted several hours prior to service; enjoyed over the course of three hours. The 1982 pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core. On the nose, the wine is developing (still!) and slightly green compared to the ’82 Mouton that was poured alongside. Cassis, purple Chewy SweeTarts, green bell pepper, old wood, some earth and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry and has massive structure still. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly bitter. Drink now with a long decant but there are decades of life left. — 12 days ago
