Solid, classic Bordeaux, easy to drink. This vintage was still a bit young, could have used a few more years before opening up. — 23 days ago
I really enjoyed this blend. — 3 months ago
Had zero expectations for this wine at a party featuring lost bottles from your cellar. It was like a raspberry preserve that you canned 10 years ago and still has the essence of that years growing season. An unexpected joy. — 4 months ago

2016 vintage. Last tasted 10.09.21 (9.2), 8.23.21 (9.2), 7.26.21 (9.2), 7.11.21 (9.2) and 6.29.21 (9.2). Something to be said for consistency but forgot what that was exactly. Medium-medium heavy body. Anyway, nice value BDX and the previously reticent, hitherto hidden, legendary tannins finally emerged from a lengthy vacation so more back end structure. Front and mid-palates unchanged and still notable for their intensity. 7.24.26. — 13 days ago
At peak. Not great, but balanced, resolved and we emptied the bottle fast. — 3 months ago
2023 vintage. A classic vintage, without the opulence of the 2022, and a bit more body than the 2021. — 4 months ago

2023 vintage.Solid, but lacking the charm of the 2020 and 2019. — 13 days ago
Beautiful Pauillac. Although it would be better in five years it is still ready to drink now. Powerful Bordeaux with strong Cabernet Sauvignon. — 5 days ago
Lacks complexity but its a truly excellent bottle and is singing now. Really good wine that is long lasting in bottle. Classical style. — 4 months ago
2020 was the last vintage produced under Groupama ownership, as the estate was sold in April 2021 to Gerald Jicquel (the Beautiful Life Group , that also owns Fourcas-Dupré). While it is an attractive, smooth Haut-Médoc, it lacks a bit of concentration, especially if compared to some of its peers in this great vintage ( like the Barreyres 2020 I've tasted yesterday). But a nice drink in any case. Abv. 13%. — 5 months ago

2014 vintage. From the (great) pre-Treasury period, this is a classic Haut-Médoc, well-situated between Giscours and Cantemerle. Solid colour, with little evolution for the vintage. Cassis, cedar, violets and spices. — 17 days ago
