This was a lovely rosé, with just the right amount of dryness — 3 years ago
Ok.......so I am not a wine expert I just love wine. Usually on a late July evening after a glass or two of a light white with the wife I would pour myself a big beefy cab and settle in to a nice cigar on the deck. Usually a nice Padron 1926 or a Liga Pravada 52. But.......I just received a deliberate from First Leaf and after a day in the wine fridge at 57 degrees (Fahrenheit) I pulled this Dry Rose’. Yum!!!! The tag line on this wine is “an elegant rose’ fit for any occasion” so I went with it and it paid off......it is a wine that would pair well with chicken, salmon or a dish that had a full mouth feel like tomato bruschetta. BUT..... does it hold up the the full earthy haul of blue smoke from a Padron 1926 Anniversario........YES! — 5 years ago
Very sweet, desert wine — 4 years ago
Wow! Wow! Wow! It has been quite some time since my husband and I had a well balanced smooth Chardonnay that had the complexity this wine has. The Linguist Estates Chardonnay used partial malolactic acid fermentation to make this wine roll across your tongue perfectly. They Nailed this wine! Beat Chardonnay we have had in years!!!! Very complex but balanced with lingering flavors of hazelnuts, dried apricots and dried fruit flavors . We paired it with halibut, shrimp, arugula and jasmine rice. Worked perfectly!!!!! — 6 years ago
