Dry-Farmed, a bit of Cabernet Franc in mix, aged 20 months in mostly neutral French oak barrels. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and floral spice. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and cassis with espresso, cinnamon and earthy spice notes. Well balanced, lively acidity, fine tannins, long ending with fruit, cacao and tobacco spice! Nice! — a month ago
Continues to be a nice wine with mellowed tannins and red/dark fruits without being too overtly fruit-forward. Pleasant to drink - not worth the price tag though — 19 days ago
A great Merlot to kick off a weekend — a month ago
Decant and pour. A splendid dark purplish garnet color. On the nose: aeromatics jump from the glass with dark cherry jam, graphite, herbaceous, vanilla oak, floral. Taste: blackberry/black cherry, crushed stone ,tar, spice, and a medium plus tannic kick me wine. Like to try again in a few years. — 10 hours ago
I bought some corked bottles and some screw cap bottles. This is for the corked one. At 13 years old it’s tasting great! I’m expecting the screw caps to be just as good. — a month ago
Deep ruby. Vanilla, blackberry, black cherry, and black plum lead, with layered hints of raspberry, spice, smoke, and a subtle earthy undertone. On the palate, firm, slightly bitter tannins and medium-plus acidity give it structure, but it’s still a bit tight—best with a long decant. Medium-plus finish. Too young for now; best to revisit in a few years.

Lighter petite with lovely bouquet and soft but pronounced tannins. Brighter berry tones than most petites. Enjoyed at Nolan’s college graduation dinner with some tasty Italian food. — 10 hours ago
