Nose of pears? Nectarines? Initials tartness of mild orange citrus? Opens up as it warms and becomes less tart and a hint of lemon at the end. — a month ago
aged long finish Château La Fleur-Pétrus Pomerol 14 @43780, Pieroth, 251117 — 5 months ago
The description: Fleur d’Eglantine gets its name from its acidulous freshness and its luminous colour, reminiscent of the petals of the wild roses that surround our vinyards. It’s a delicate rosé, airy and acidic, which unites floral aromas and crunchy red berries. Grape Grenache mixed with Mourvèdre and a dash of Syrah
The opinion: Superb really good value drinking. Great depth and texture for the price. Off to buy some more. — 11 days ago
Good Château La Fleur de Boüard Le Plus Lalande de Pomerol, Merlot 16 @18920, Pieroth, 251117 — 5 months ago
Blend of 68% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, a new wine in the collection, deep Ruby Color, purple hues, with aromas of black and red fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, slightly jammy, with notes of cinnamon and floral spice. Clean fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and herb spice. Nice first offering!! — a month ago

Well balanced medium body Bourdeaux, 2019 — 4 months ago
What beautiful wine. The secondary fruit notes are coming through, some dried fruit, more body. This is still an insanely austere wine. Sea shells, lemons, apples, chamomile, flowers, more apples, orange blossom. It’s just so much better with the fruit tasting older. So glad I experienced this over a few years to see how champagne evolves. 2015 harvest, disgorged jun 2019, no dosage. — 5 months ago

Strawberries, black cherries, dark chocolate and truffles. Very powerful. Apparently it is aged in 100% new oak, which is often not the best idea, but in this one it's perfectly integrated. Very long finish. — 4 days ago
