I can't stop drinking this... This might be a good problem... Dark red ruby in color with a medium-plus intensity. The nose is filled with dark bing cherries, fresh cranberries, wet violets, wild mushrooms, moss, forest floor, smoked wood, and wet rocks. The palate was fleshy, mysterious and refined. Mushrooms and a perfect dose of acidity and chewy tannic structure made the finish irresistible. It's balance competes and stands tall with any of the great Burgundy producers. It's truly astonishing how this 12.5% Gamay is so complex. This bottle is hard to put down. Cheers to a perfect Friday night! — 8 years ago
Too bad we can't go back to France and buy this again... rich and thick in Oak, with a typical buttery Taste for a chardonnay. Deep and much more full bodied than the majority of whites we can get in the states. Loved this pick! — 7 years ago
Took a few hours but was amazing once it opened up - at lameloise — 9 years ago
Excellent with the pizzas! — 9 years ago
First Coche ever. Technically perfect in every way though no particular wow factor. Similar experience over three hours. While not reductive in any fashion and oak didn't stick out, perhaps it needs more time to blossom into its legend... Stellar pricing btw and fantastic meal at Lameloise. — 8 years ago
Lovely Montrachet with superb richness, lemons, yellow pitted fruit (pears/apples), slight minerality, and vanilla. Well-balanced. Had a half bottle at Lameloise paired nicely with fois gras creme/beef and fish in a lemon creme sauce — 9 years ago
