Super fruity fragrant aroma! Tastes of cherries, chocolate, and vanilla. — 6 years ago
I liked this one better than the 2012, but LW preferred the ‘12. The 2014 will have to wait until next week. — 7 years ago
Beautiful wine that turned out to be the highlight of today’s staff tasting. Reminiscent of an aged Rioja. Very elegant wine with bright red fruit character,
leather, balsamic reduction and dried herb components. Dusty tannins and excellent acidity. These textures and flavors completely bely a 15 year old Dry Creek Valley wine of 14.8% alcohol. Charlie Meeker is an outstanding and very underappreciated winemaker doing wonderful things in a range of varietals. This was my first opportunity to taste an older vintage and it was gorgeous. — 8 years ago
Talking with Charlie and enjoying this big Cab Franc! — 10 years ago
Beautiful/ 11 years of age and starting to show some dried raisin fruit characters; it is still absolutely beautiful. On the nose it displays a slight oxidation (might be from the move across the Atlantic twice with it) but taste and finish are perfect. — 10 years ago
I don’t usually order dessert wines, but it’s been an incredibly long day, and I’m still working late into the night. So, yes I did treat myself to this sweet, sweet delight. #WorkingDinner Ribbon candy, berry rich (loved this part), and luscious grapes! A fruitful #SWEETZinfandel that just keeps on giving as you let sit on your palette. It’s like smelling a bouquet of flowers! Or a beautiful taste of Spring! I am most definitely buying this for me at home as well. Officially! My new favorite dessert wine! I did start off with an Argentinian cab tonight, but as you can see this delight stole the night 🌚 Enjoy ✨ — 6 years ago

Nice spicy flavor cab franc! Went well with pork belly sliders! — 9 years ago
Fascinating wine. More Alpine than Rhone in balance. Weight without excessive alcohol (some skin contact). Expressive minerality, nicely balanced - if not high - acidity, delicious fruit. Thanks for sharing @Aaron Meeker — 10 years ago
Smokey nose and tart finish.

Velvety dark fruit, BDay gift from A&W — 5 years ago
Another gem from the California Lost and Found file. My friends at Meeker Vineyards recently stumbled upon 100 cases of this 2001 bottling of Mendocino Carignan in their cellars. When they offered me samples I happily accepted. Drinking very well- great purity, definition and balance. Bright red fruits, dried flowers, mint,
eucalyptus, tobacco- characteristics that I’ve noted in some of their older wines. Skillful cork removal and decanting required, tools not included. — 8 years ago
Good aroma and nice and bold. This is a repeat purchase. Meeker paid about $12 at Schnucks. — 9 years ago
A great example of Malbec. Rich but elegant only about 13.5%. A surprise. @Ronnie Sanders @Aaron Meeker — 10 years ago

Wouldn't be surprised if this is growing next to some Zin in the Dry Creek Valley as that's what blind guessed this to be, but was surprised to find out it was 100% Grenache. Light and delicious, it's like a subtle almost feminine Zin. — 10 years ago

Pineapple, Marciano cherry, orange. I’ve had a few trousseau grid’s from this vineyard. Darker and heavier than the others. — 10 months ago
