Traditional 100% Gamay coming from a Vineyard by the hills with a stony clay soil on shallow blue stones, manually harvested from vines averaging +50 years. A wine made in very small quantities (around 2500 bottles per harvest). Plummy, dark prunes, red fruit marmalade, delicate acidity, a more fruit-forward styled Gamay on both nose and palate. Very long finish with medium tannins and a bit of rich at the very end. Can even be paired with lean and shredded beef in red sauces. — 8 days ago
