A rare treat and an immaculate bottle. Intense dark fruit, almost brooding on the nose. Gorgeous black cherry and plum with hints of iodine and some gnarly notes of underbrush and a slight tang of salinity. This is very elemental still in some ways but much of the fruit is in place and secondary notes are shining through. Really gorgeous and intense and an incredibly well kept bottle. What a surprise… I hope I get to encounter this unicorn again. You couldn’t ask for a more compelling bottle. — 9 months ago

The color had amber tones. Some unpleasant smell faded somewhat. Still nice fruit and elegance. — 8 days ago

Stellar. Tasted a bit over the hill at first (just a touch of raisination) but the color and tannin are from a 2015 or thereabouts. It’s continually developing. Black tea, xmas spice, black cherry, cacao nib but really dark, idk if descriptors do it justice honestly. Was worried cause of vintage/storage/reviews but this is hitting. Btw idk if delectable has it right but it’s the Michel Bonnefond bottling made by Roumier. Texture is honestly seductive — 3 years ago

Pnp beauty, completely open and giving wafting a distinctive Roumier raspberry and rose petal laced whole cluster perfume with a seductive and seamless palate with fine grained tannins and a long mineral inflicted finish. So much more accessible than 21’s right now which are far more closed and reductive. Last glass a couple hours open was just perfect Burgundy. Village at its finest. — 15 days ago
